QLS charges one surcharge: fuel. Jet fuel prices are set by global markets, so we show it as a separate line item rather than inflating the base rate.
Why fuel?
Fuel is the largest variable cost in air freight. We pass through actual fuel cost changes as a separate line item. When fuel drops, the surcharge drops. When it rises, you see why.
